Orlando Gonzáles Naranjo

Naranjo was born on September 14, 1937 in Calabazar de Sagua. Villa Clara, Cuba. self-taught, studied Commerce in Sagua la Grande. In 1957 he moved to Havana and began to work, first as a clerk and then dedicated himself to assembling stained glass windows, an office in which he put his artistic talents, until 1963. Since 1967 he has worked for INIT as a designer in decoration of interiors. In 1953 he obtained the Second Prize in the Drawing Contest of the Inter-American Academy of Art in the USA.
